Health Walks

If you want to maintain or improve your health, regular walking is the perfect way to adopt a healthier lifestyle.

Everyone can benefit from regular walking, whatever your age or current level of fitness you can benefit from doing a bit more physical activity. Any activity is better than none so try and get out and walk as much as possible within your own limitations.

There are a number of short circular walks across Shropshire which you can find on this website.

Alternatively if you would prefer to walk with a group of people why not join your local Walking the way for Health group. For more information about the national Walking the way to Health initiative please visit their website at www.whi.org.uk.

If you would like to find out about local groups in your area visit the Walking for life! pages at www.shropshire.gov.uk/countryside.nsf.
